El batán es un edificio muy antiguo. Tiene más de 400 años. Está en el pueblo de Villava, junto al río Arga. El batán está muy cerca del Camino de Santiago. Hoy forma parte del Parque Fluvial de la Comarca de Pamplona. El batán ha tenido varios usos. Primero fue un molino de harina. Luego fue un molino trapero. En estos molinos utilizan la fuerza del agua para mover las máquinas y hacer tejidos.
Atención: De manera temporal, la entrada al Batán sólo podrá realizarse por escaleras. La entrada accesible está cerrada por riesgo de derrumbes. Las demás medidas de accesibilidad del centro se mantienen. Disculpen las molestias.
